JQ One is the first city centre development by Jewellery Quarter-based Chord Homes.
The scheme boasts 43 one- and two- bedroom apartments and a penthouse. It rises to four floors, with 6,000 sq ft of office accommodation at ground level.
Chord’s in-house team designed the development, and aim for it to be a landmark building, incorporating marble, brick, glass and steel. A rooftop patio is also planned, for the use by the residents.
The apartments will be ready for occupation from October. The two storey penthouse will be released for sale later this year. For further information contact Maguire Jackson on 0121 634 1520.
Geoff Shuttleworth, a director at Chord, said: “We are delighted with the success of our first city centre scheme. We hope it proves to be a blueprint for the other Jewellery Quarter schemes we have in the pipeline.”
Chord has recently won planning permission for a second scheme, in Birmingham’s St Paul’s Square.
St Paul’s Place will be the biggest residential development in the historic square, comprising 177 apartments. The £35m scheme will include a range of studios, one and two-bed apartments and two penthouses, set around two spectacular internal courtyards. Savills have been appointed to market the development. |
