NEW TRIO AT CHORD

PRESS RELEASES

Chord Consulting, the design arm of Chord Developments, has boosted its Jewellery Quarter-based team with three senior appointments to manage a range of major new projects.
L-R: David Waites, Neil Crowther and Tim Bennett.
David Waites joins the firm as director. With more than 20 years’ experience as a principle in private practice, David has developed a reputation as a leading adviser on mixed-use urban regeneration projects for both the public and private sectors, and was latterly a director at Nicol Thomas Ltd.

At Chord, David will be responsible for leading the developer’s award-winning design team.
Also from Nicol Thomas, Tim Bennett joins Chord as design associate director. Tim qualified in 1986 and has worked with a wide range of developers, including Kendrick Developments, Bellway Homes and Crest Nicolson, from scheme conception to managing projects through to completion.
The trio is completed by town planner Neil Crowther. Neil joins from planning consultancy Barton Wilmore Planning, as planning associate director. Since qualifying in 1996, Neil has advised on a wide range of high profile schemes, including Birmingham’s Bullring, the Beetham Tower Skyscraper, and the Masshouse and Typhoo Wharf Schemes in Eastside.
The appointments mark the start of an expansion drive by Chord Consulting Ltd, due to the success of its sister company Chord Developments Ltd, which now has more than £100m of projects at various stages of design and construction, as well as attracting major new commissions from both private and public sector clients.
